In the heart of the Australian continent lies an unspoiled desert, offering an incredible sight that has probably barely changed over the past couple of centuries. Only a few roads cross the untouched nature there. Although created by man, they seem like they have been there forever. Rarely paved, they lead travellers mostly on pure red sand through the endless wilderness. The photography series "Road to Alice Springs" tells the story of an exciting journey across Australia and makes the greatness of man on planet earth look notably smaller than one would expect.
